Today is Johnny “Burst Rock” Cervin Birthday. We celebrated by having a nice big lunch from Juan Pollo here at the office. With many orders of Chicken, Beans, Rice, Potato Salad, Drinks, and a Big Toy Story Cake of his favorite flavor, Vanilla. Johnny is in charge of many of the orders that gets shipped out to our customers, from cds to shirts to bandannas and house shoes and more. Johnny is a staff favorite here at the office, organizing pranks, and being the jokester of the team. Johnny is a good guy and from all the Urban Kings Staff….we say Happy Birthday Johnny and cant wait to do this again next year!

Here is the Official Movie Poster for the movie “Invasion” which will be releasing March 1st at the Panavision Theatre in Woodland Hills, California. This movie I have not even seen yet, because I want to be into this movie while I watch it for the first time like everyone else. We will be there with the Urban Kings Staff watching and supporting this movie, because our friend Jeff “Echo” Reyes from EchosWorld (The same director who filmed and directed Midget Loco’s “Thirteen Letter” and “Sunday High” and Baby Jokes “She Used To Be My Side Kick“) is back with this all new movie. He also directed the Movie “ASH” which also will be out in 2012.
Invasion will be premiered March 1st at The Panavision Theatre at 6219 De Soto Avenue in Woodland Hills, California 91367. Showtimes start at 6:30 & 8:30pm and will also have a meet and greet with the stars of the movie. The movie will ONLY BE $5 per person, which is alot cheaper than films out right now, plus your supporting a independant filmmaker.
Midget Loco performed last weekend at the Chola Pinups event called the “California Queenpin”, which was a concert and model search for models that were interested in joining the Chola Pinups team, as well as a Art Show and Birthday party for some of the girls. It was a real good turn out and some real good performances by Midget Loco, Young Brown, Dolle Girl and Toro. The event was free with making a small donation to thier Torzido Network. Midget did a few classic jams and also performed a few of the fan favorite songs from the “Dedicated To The OGs” album, which is Midgets most recent release.
It is the Sugar versus the Cinnamon. “Sugar” Shane Mosley (46 – 7 – 1 and 39 Knockouts) vs Saul “Canelo” Alverez (39 – 0 – 1 and 29 Knockouts). This is a main event in itself, but it has just been added to the undercard as the headlining megafight between Floyd Mayweather and Miguel Cotto. Mosley is already considered by many, a shoe-in for the Boxing Hall of Fame, as he has won 6 World Championships in 3 divisions, memorably against Oscar De La Hoya and Antonio Margarito. Canelo is an upcoming fighter who is very popular in Mexico. He has memorable wins against Carlos Baldomir, Kermit Cintron, Alfonso Gomez and Jose Miguel Cotto. Canelo being from Juanacatlan, he is a fan favorite from Mexicans and Mexican Americans. With brutal knockout power and high energy aggression, Canelo vs Sugar will be a great fight.
The fight is taking place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada on Cinco De Mayo, May 5th, 2012 in front of thousands in the arena and millions that will be watching worldwide.
Canelo said he will be fighting the winner of the Mayweather – Cotto fight! “The condition to fight in a preliminary [position to] Mayweather – is that I would face whoever wins. If Mayweather wins, [the fight] won’t happen until next year because he only fights once per year and he has to go to jail for three months, so it wouldn’t happen until 2013,” Canelo said.
“I placed that condition in and I have every intention to follow through on this. I initially didn’t want appear as a co-star. I preferred to fight on another day and another place. Canelo also said he wont let Mosley escape like Pacquiao let him, saying “Obviously I’m going to apply pressure. Pacquiao didn’t close exits. I’m preparing with fighters who are faster than Shane, and I am going to close those exits when we meet. We’re doing a lot of work concerning speed. Shane is fast and he’s an accomplished counter-puncher. We’re working on all of this.”
He also said “I’m preparing for the best Shane Mosley. He’s a great fighter. Look what happened to [Antonio] Margarito [knocked out in round nine at the Staples Center LA on January 24th 2009, following the hand wraps controversy]. I’m looking for a Shane Mosley with the frame of mind to come in there and win.”

Many fans dont know this, but Spanky Loco is a very dope tattoo artist, as well as having the talent on the microphone. Spanky sent us this picture of his most recent work, which he did for his brother. Spanky has been in the studio as well as perfecting his skill in the art world and tattoo world. Spanky is working on a new project for this year, and I have already sneak peaked a few songs, and its coming out sickk. Make sure to pick up the “Tirando Y Rifando 2” album if you have not already, it did very well last year and its one of Spankys best albums to date, as well as his most recent.
