Friend of Urban Kings Music Group, DJ Craig EC was telling me a story about a young lady, Dena Donham, whose mother wrote to him about her daughter wanting to meet Scotty McCreery (Last seasons American Idol Winner). She was born with a disease and this is her story how DJ Craig EC made her dream come true, telling her story through her Facebook. Big Shout out to DJ Craig ec and the 100.9 Heat Staff!

My Scotty Experience.
I have loved Scotty McCreery, since the very beginning. Ever since I heard him sing “Baby Lock Them Doors.” I bought the songs he covered on American Idol, every week off of iTunes. He is the only person I have ever cared to vote for on American Idol. (Previous Seasons, included.)
When he was given the title, I cried. I was so happy that he won. He truly deserved it and, I completely idolized him by the time the season was over. I wanted nothing more than to see him in concert. I would tell my family that I just wanted to be close enough to reach out and, touch his hand.
My mom, found out that Scotty, was coming to Lancaster Ca. I freaked because, nobody I love ever comes to my town. It’s like, overlooked or something. Hahaha! Anyways… My mom got in contact with a local radio host named DJ Craig EC, (Through a Co Worker/Friend of hers. He happened to be best friends with Craig EC.)
My mom wrote the DJ a letter telling him my story, all I’ve been through and, had to overcome. (I have Cerebral Palsy! I haven’t been able to walk without assistance, since birth. Doctors told my then teenage mother, that I’d never amount to anything in life. I guess I proved them wrong because, I’m nearly a high school graduate with huge plans to go straight to college and become an entertainment journalist.) Anyway, enough back story. Hahaha!
So, Craig EC had me come up to his radio station and, handed me 3 tickets and, 2 Meet N’ Greet passes to Scotty’s concert, which happened to be 2 days away. (Tonight.) Of course, I was hysterical when he handed them to me. I thanked him so many times. I couldn’t wait to experience this with my mommy and, little sister. (Who are also huge fans.)
Today, I woke up knowing that tonight, I’d be meeting somebody I idolize. My sister got up and, we spent hours in the bathroom while she did my hair and, makeup. After everyone was ready, we headed over to the venue. I had butterflies all day and, they only intensified when we arrived.
After along wait Craig EC came up and told us that Scotty would come and meet us down stairs apart from all the others because, I couldn’t go up stairs like everyone else. My mom and, sister got their cameras ready because, they wanted to record my meeting with him.
Finally, Scotty made his way down the stairs following Craig EC and, Security. He walked straight up to me and, held out his hand. I took it and, by that time, I was on the verge of tears. He then ASKED PERMISSION, before hugging me. I hugged him and, I said: “I love you!” I was choked up and, fighting back tears. He then replied: “Awe, thank you! I love you too.” I WAS DYING INSIDE. TRYING SO HARD NOT TO COMPLETELY LOOSE IT. Then he took pictures with both my sister and, I. Then my mom, asked him if we all could take one together. He smiled and, said “Of course! Of course!” Security, was rushing him but, he didn’t care. Then he signed both of our Passes and, told me he’d be looking out for me in the crowd. He gave me another hug and, started to walk away. He noticed he had forgot to hug my sister again and, ran back to hug her.
After we met him, he performed a full setlist of songs. (Without a break.) I knew every single word to all of his songs. He dedicated “The Trouble With Girls” to us California Girls. ♥ After running through the setlist, he came out for an Encore. Then it was all over as quickly as it began.
Tonight, was the best night of my existence. I will never forget a moment. The way he treated me. The way he hugged me. He was so, so, so, genuine. He didn’t have to tell me he loved me but, he did. He didn’t have to come down and, meet me downstairs but, he did.
He will always and, forever be FLAWLESS to me. ♥”

Jasper has been staying busy this year, already performing at 2 shows this year, working on his solo follow up album to “Eastside Assassin” and the new “Charlie Row Campo” album that will also come out this year. We were in Downtown Los Angeles the other day buying screen for our silk screen machine. We got our own press so we can make our own shirts and new designs for not only Urban Kings, but for Old English Brand as well. For those who have never been to Los Angeles, we took a few snapshots while driving around in the city. So you can see and feel the real streets that we are always in, and Urban Kings Music has the soundtrack to them. If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of the streets.

We are almost 2 weeks away from the First Hello Loca 2012 Tour Stop, which will be in Denver Colorado on February 11th, going down at Casselmans Bar and Venue. Deezer

We have completed new deals with French based subscription streaming service Deezer. First we have agreed to a global distribution deal that will see Deezer launch their subscription service (without the freemium element) beyond France and the UK and into a further 17 territories (not including the US), which represents a big push to scale. In addition we’ve also completed deals that sees Deezer partner with leading Belgian ISP Belgacom & authorizing the partner to resell the Deezer service on a standalone basis or bundled with Belgacom products and services. Deezer will also take their partnership with Orange into Africa, which will authorize Orange to resell the service on a standalone or bundled basis. Both deals represent an opportunity to replicate the success that Deezer has generated with its partnership with Orange in France where the resulting subscriber count is now over 1 million.

Rdio recently expanded into Australia, New Zealand and Germany.

Zune

Microsoft expanded the territory of the Zune agreement to include the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Australia. The Zune a la carte download store is available in all new territories, and the Zune Music Pass, which allows unlimited music and music videos streaming to PCs, Windows phones and the Xbox 360, is available in all new territories except for Germany.

We have a full schedule this year, releasing 12 National Releases this year to major outlets, digital releases and more. We are working on the exact release dates but have chosen which albums will be out this year. Stompers album “Once Upon A Time In America 2″ is scheduled for this year, with fans waiting impatiently for this album, I have heard it and the public will not be disappointed at all. We are proud to announce a release from Slush Tha Villian, called “Out On Bail”. Slush always delivers on dope music and this album is no exception. The hard beats and lyrics are dope, and with features by Ms Krazie, Stomper and Kozme, its the perfect fit. Ese Lil Joker is also releasing a new project through Urban Kings Music Group. With this new album “Most Wanted” it is something that every Ese Lil Joker fans want in an album. Hardcore and Uncut, “Most Wanted” gives the fans what they want. UKMG is also putting out the new Lil Sicko album called “My Neighborhood The Sequel”. The first My Neighborhood  cd was dope and the new album is just as good if not better! Lil Sicko fans have been anxiously waiting for this release and this year its coming!

We also have a new release from Ms Krazie. Her “Forgive Not Forget” album has been a demanded album since we have announced the title of the album. This is a cd that every Ms Krazie fan must have. And it is coming this year! We also have a brand new Baby Jokes cd called “Love Songs”. It will be a full collection of loves songs from Baby Jokes and if you liked “Baby Love” and “She Used To Be My Sidekick” your gonna really love this album! We will also be releasing a brand new Charlie Row Campo album. The Camponero fans have been asking and we will be delivering with this solid album from the Campo, and YES, Chino Grande will be on the album. Jasper Loco is also putting out a new solo project this year, it is currently untitled but it will be coming out this year. Jasper’s last album “Eastside Assassin” was a fan favorite and his new album has also came out tight. Fiesty 2 Guns will also release his solo cd this year, also currently untitled, and will be a must have for all Fiesty 2 Guns fans. If you liked “Street Scriptures” and “Talking Guns”, then Fiestys new album is exactly for you. We also  have a Spanky Loco album that is scheduled for release this year. With some dope features and beats, its gonna be a dope Spanky Loco release like always. Also riding the success of the “Dedicated To The OG’s” album, Midget Loco is scheduled to release another solo album this year. All Midget Loco fans will not be disappointed with this album!
