Early today, Common was on Shade 45 Satellite Radio Segment, Sway In The Morning, Common said if Drake was offended by Commons Song “Sweet”, then he should take it as a personal diss. Common said in the interview “Hey, he opened his mouth and said some things. So if he wants it, that’s what he wants, all that subliminal, you can do that too. But you might want to say that now,” he said. “I mean, the verse is about me, but when you hear some stuff on the chorus, it’s like you can’t help but think about dude, and that’s what he felt. So at the end of the day, he fit in that category. He already embraced it, so wear it.”

Commons song “Sweet” is the song where he supposedly called out Drake, and rumors are they were intended for Drake. This past weekend, Drake said at a concert in front of 20,000 people “I might sing, but I’m no bitch.” Then he said something like, “If [Common] got something to say, say it to my face.” Common also performed at the same concert. KRS 1 is a legend in the hip hop community. With songs like “South Bronx”,  ”Loves Gonna Get Ya”, and “Criminal Minded” KRS established  himself as an elite emcee. His rhymes always speak knowledge about the hustle, life and politics. This is his newest song called “Aztechnical” which is from his newest CD (his 20th studio album) called “Just Like That”.

Here is what the producer “MadLion” said about this song, “Turning the flame up a little more, my next video presentation “Aztecnical” will deal with the myths of 2012, particularly the December 21st 2012 Mayan Calendar “end date”. Too many of our people are being led astray by movies, lectures and hype mostly regarding the celestial calculations of the Mayan Calendar. And while other cultures also predict the same “end date” calculations, it is important to point out that all cosmic alignments, shifts and even changes are occurring RIGHT NOW! The question is, how might this affect Hip Hop worldwide? I believe we are about to finally have our “say” in the world. The key word in the next few upcoming months will be “courage”, and true courage comes from living rightly. As an international culture, Hip Hop is poised for a great opportunity; my goal is to get us prepared for it, and fear has no place in our collective future.

There has been talks in Hollywood that are trying to bring back the infamous Scarface movie. I believe like most Scarface fans that the movie is a classic and shouldn’t be changed one bit. But I have also been hearing that David Ayers is writing the movie. David Ayers is the guy who wrote “Training Day”, “Swat” and “Fast and the Furious” . He also wrote and directed “End Of Watch” with Baby Jokes . It is said that Ayers will be writing the movie, but WILL NOT be an exact copy of the original. Im thinking they are using the Scarface name, but a whole new story. Before all you guys get mad and upset, did you know that the Scarface we love was a remake? The original Scarface movie came out in 1932. Thats almost 80 years ago. The Scarface we all know was made in 1982 by director Brian De Palma. Now the next question is, who is next in line that can play Tony Montana as good as the great Al Pacino?

This Saturday the Super Six Championship will be held in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Features Andre Ward vs Carl Froch, both finalists in this tournament. The Super Six consisted of six great fighters at the super middleweight division. And a tournament style fight schedule throughout a 3 year span finally puts the two left standing against each other. Andre Ward and Carl Froch both fought tough fighters and clawed there way into the finale. The Super Six was designed to separate the tough middleweight class to one top fighter and the winner of this fight will be just that. Up for grabs is Wards WBA title, Froch’s WBC belt, Ring Magazine’s vacant title, and the Super Six trophy, along with bragging rights that they are the best in the division. This looks to be a tough fight for both fighters as both can mix it up and hit hard. Froch said “I’ll be trying to hit Andre Ward in the face — very hard and very often. Will I be targeting the right eye or left eye or wherever his cut was? To be totally honest, no. It’s too difficult to target a square inch on somebody’s cranium.”

This fight will be taking place on Saturday Night, on Showtime TONIGHT at 9PM ET/PT.

A new HBO Original Series is “Luck”. Directed by Michael Mann (Transformers 1, 2 and 3) , Creator by David Milch (Deadwood), and Staring Academy Award Winner Dustin Hoffman and Academy Award Nominee Nick Nolte, this TV show looks like its gonna be a great series.
