Some new Midget Loco songs were recently added to the Pocos Pero Locos. His songs “Bangin In My Houseshoes” and “Sunday High” are playing and a fan favorite on the show. Make sure to request his songs on Pocos as well as the rest of the Urban Kings Music Group Artists.
Shout out to Jorge Munoz out of Elgin, Illinois for sending me a picture of a FEW of his Urban Kings cds. He got alot of Chino Grande, Charlie Row, Stomper, Spanky Loco, Conejo and Street Anthems. We were in Downtown Los Angeles the other day buying screen for our silk screen machine. We got our own press so we can make our own shirts and new designs for not only Urban Kings, but for Old English Brand as well. For those who have never been to Los Angeles, we took a few snapshots while driving around in the city. So you can see and feel the real streets that we are always in, and Urban Kings Music has the soundtrack to them. If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of the streets.

Urban Kings Music Group recently inked new deals with UK based Shazam, which is the company that has been the market leading mobile phone identification service. Shazam allows users to use thier devices to tag and identify songs they hear anywhere (including on radio, on television and in retail stores), and includes buy links in order to purchase the music. In the middle of 2011, Shazam had over 150 Million users and was live in over 200 countries.

iCloud
iTunes has recently expanded its iTunes iCloud service to Australia, New Zealand and the European territories listed below. iTunes iCloud European Territories include: the European Economic Area (fifteen old and ten new member states of the European Union: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, The Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom; and three of the four states of the European Free Trade Association: Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein), and Switzerland.
Deezer
We have completed new deals with French based subscription streaming service Deezer. First we have agreed to a global distribution deal that will see Deezer launch their subscription service (without the freemium element) beyond France and the UK and into a further 17 territories (not including the US), which represents a big push to scale. In addition we’ve also completed deals that sees Deezer partner with leading Belgian ISP Belgacom & authorizing the partner to resell the Deezer service on a standalone basis or bundled with Belgacom products and services. Deezer will also take their partnership with Orange into Africa, which will authorize Orange to resell the service on a standalone or bundled basis. Both deals represent an opportunity to replicate the success that Deezer has generated with its partnership with Orange in France where the resulting subscriber count is now over 1 million.
Rdio
Rdio recently expanded into Australia, New Zealand and Germany.
Zune
Microsoft expanded the territory of the Zune agreement to include the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Australia. The Zune a la carte download store is available in all new territories, and the Zune Music Pass, which allows unlimited music and music videos streaming to PCs, Windows phones and the Xbox 360, is available in all new territories except for Germany.

I had a meeting with Carolyn Rodriguez aka Medicine Girl, (Reppin Dopehouse – She did many hooks for South Park Mexican, like “Mexican Heaven” and “Are We Real”), and Juan Gotti (from Dopehouse Records) and took Jose with me. They were shooting a video for an upcoming project in Cali and we had to chop it up since I havent seen them since the last trip. We caught up with them at the hotel and chilled in the bar. We went to Downtown Los Angeles to buy the screen we need to make a design. Now its time to put our design into the screen so we can make our own shirts. Its a complicated process to etch our designs into a screen then imprint it onto the frame. We are making our Urban Kings Music Group T Shirts, with the Urban Kings logo on the front with the UKMG initials on the back with the website underneath. We finished our first batch of Urban Kings Shirts. These took a little under an hour and came out great. These are a VERY VERY Limited Edition shirt made for Urban Kings Staff, Artists, and thats pretty much it. We might put some online for a limited time product. Take a look at the shirts and check them out! We had to go through a little adventure to make these. By traveling to Downtown LA to buy the screen, to making the design and burning into the screen. Tomorrow our blog will be about making the screen and making the shirt.
We have been announcing that Ms Krazie will be doing her Hello Loca 2012 Tour to perform for her fans around the country. She has announced some dates to kick off the tour and has many more dates throughout the year. The first stop of the Hello Loca 2012 tour will be DENVER, COLORADO. The event will be 21 and over with Valid ID. It will be taking place at Casselmans Bar in Downtown Denver. There is a General Admission and VIP admission and the VIP admission includes alot of items included a RAFFLE FOR A FREE TATTOO. The Urban Kings Staff got together last night to celebrate another good year. With 9 Releases in 2011 (Fiesty 2 Guns kicked off the new year with his CD “Talking Guns”, next was Midget Loco’s “First Loco At The Street”, then was Urban Kings Street Anthems 3, Spanky Locos “Tirando Y Rifando 2, Fiesty 2 Guns “Street Scriptures”, Jasper Loco’s “Eastside Assassin”, Baby Jokes “Life On The Streets”, Midget Loco’s “Dedicated To The OG’s” and Chino Grande’s “The Story Of My Life”). Most of the albums are available at your local FYE locations and iTunes.
We are always working here at the office and with another great year we decided to celebrate not only the year that passed, but the new year that has even bigger plans. All our staff went to Alondras Hot Wings and ordered many buffalo wings and beer. Alondras theme is all mafia old time gangsters like Carlo Gambino, Al Capone, John Gotti, and Vito Genevese. Youtube Friday is about BRAWL FOR ALL , which the WWE/WWF did a few years ago, which was really cool. What they did was they made a tournament for wrestlers to REALLY BOX…..YES BOXING…FOR REAL BOXING…and all contestants got paid, and the winners won additional bonuses on top of moving to the next round. The winner of the BRAWL FOR ALL was scheduled to fight Boxer “BUTTERBEAN” at a Wrestlemania.
