R.I.P Wreck from Wicked Minds

We heard about this sad news that Wreck aka Eddie Martinez, the founder of Wicked Minds, passed away on Sunday, October 28th. Wreck was one of the original pioneers of latin hip hop/chicano rap, and highly respected among fans and his musical peers. Everyone here at UKMG was saddened by the news, as Wreck was a very cool and humble person. Everyone has stories about Wreck, aside from his music, but the person he was. Always looking out for people, taking the time to give advice and knowledge through situations he has been through so others wouldn’t make the same mistake. May Eddie Rest In Paradise.

We are going to leave you with his story, written by the man himself, for his biography from his Facebook Page.

Wicked Minds is one of the pioneers of the Latin Hip-Hop scene. The first Wicked Minds album release occurred the night of Halloween, October 31st, 1996. Since then, Wicked Minds has continued releasing albums every Halloween. Alot of people have asked Wreck, what does the name “Wicked Minds” mean or stand for. Where did the name come from? The name “Wicked Minds” means, “What is misunderstood is feared” Ever since the beginning of time, when something was misunderstood, it was considered evil or wicked. Since the 2006 Halloween release of “The 18th Angel” on Thump/DefBoy Records, Wicked Minds has released “Illuminati”. This album introduces the newest artist to the Wicked Minds line-up, Lil Wreck, Baby Face. Halloween 2009 we dropped the newest Wicked Minds cd which is the reunion album titled “Legion” Wreck, BabyWicked, Mr. Chino Grande, and Cuete Yeska get back together to record this hip hop masterpiece.”Legion” also introduces the joining of forces by the Wicked Minds kids Lil Wreck(Wreck’s son) and Lil Bam Bam(Cuete Yesca’s son). Finally we have the” Compilation X” cd released Halloween 2010. This one features a gang of foos, you gotta peep it out. The last thirteen years have been spent performing on stages across the country with various artists. Some of these artists include such names as Ludacris, Cypress Hill, Xzibit, Baby Beesh (before he was Bash), Frost, Lighter Shade of Brown, Run DMC, SPM, Brown Boy, Cecy B, Nino Brown, Down, Mr. Capone-e, Lil Rob, Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Fat Joe, Stevie B, Chingo Bling, Knightowl, Brenton Wood, War, Tierra, Rocky Padilla, DJ Quick, Suga Free, and the list goes on and on. Ms Krazie Visits The Pyramids

Ms Krazie Visited The Pyramids In Mexico

On The Steps Of Our Ancestors

Ms Krazie In Front Of The Pyramid

UKMG Artist Ms Krazie took a trip to Mexico this past weekend and visited the pyramids. Something like that is really amazing, to see the work of our ancestors and people who lives thousands of years before us. How people could have made these structures is still unknown, because it still can not be duplicated by people who are currently living today, with the tools and machines we have today. Ms Krazie has visited many places since last year, and now the pyramids is something that is usually once in a lifetime for some people. Shout out to Ms Krazie and we hope all of her fans enjoy the pictures, because we sure did and we think we should plan a trip this year to see the pyramids too!

Another Fan Tattoo’d A Ms Krazie Saying

We have just got in a picture submitted to us by a huge Ms Krazie fan. Her name is Magi Hernandez and she sent us this picture of a payasa with the “Smile Now Cry Never” saying. She chose to put the tattoo on her left chest and the artwork looks very clean, from the lettering to the design. Magi always stays bumping Ms Krazie’s music and has been waiting to get this tattoo done for a while. We wanna shout out Magi and make sure to add her page because she is truly a Ms Krazie fan and UKMG supporter!

Smile Now Cry Never is Ms Krazie’s 4th CD, and is currently available everywhere, including all FYE Locations, digitally through iTunes, and online at The UKMG Merch Store. Below is my favorite song from Ms Krazie’s Smile Now, Cry Never album called “Up To No Good”.
